My sister had her 3 kiddo and they blessed him on Sunday July 3rd. A week before she asked if I could make a blessing blanket. I told her I would see what I could do. It was not as big as I would usually do, but it worked. This is the only picture I have of it as I was finishing it on the drive there.
Then that night we headed to my parents for the beginning of the celebration. We hung out and visited, then there was fireworks. I didn't get any pictures. The kids slept over, this is a tradition I had growing up so it is fun to have it continued.
Then on the 4th we had a breakfast with all my extended Walker family. Not everyone was able to come but it was fun to visit with my aunts, uncles, cousins and their families.
We hung out at my parents and the kids played in the water. Of course I did not get pictures of this either. We had an late lunch early dinner. Then we headed home. It was fun and I'm glad we were able to celebrate the freedom we have and we are grateful for those who serve this country!
